What was the best decision that you made in 2018 and how did it impact your business?
To launch sexualharassmenttrainingny.com as HR’s one-stop sexual harassment solution in full compliance with NYS Labor Law §201-g and NYC Local Law 96. This web-based, on-demand, and full-video training product offers company-branded complaint forms and sexual harassment policies with digital receipts to defend prospective litigation and address Department of Labor audits.

As a result, the Lieb brand has expanded from our fair housing / ADA practice routes, within real estate, into the workplace where we have been training both independent contractors and employees on prevention while counseling employers on best practices to avoid claims and to keep the workplace free from discrimination.

What market trend(s) will impact your industry in 2019?
Discrimination claims will be huge as every employee in the State is now being trained on their rights.

What was an unexpected event that occurred in 2018, and how did it impact your career or personal life?
Hiring Mordy Yankovich, Esq. to lead my employment law practice who has opened my eyes to the complexity of being an employer in this State.

Do you have any New Year’s Resolution(s)?
