New York, NY According to Capell Barnett Matalon & Schoenfeld LLP, Christopher Wright has joined the firm as counsel and William McManus has joined as an associate. 

Wright is focused on expanding the firm’s Land Use & Zoning practice, serving clients in all five boroughs. Wright is an active member of the NYC Bar Association, the Zoning Advisory Council and REBNY. He represents and advises New York property owners on all such matters, including at the City Planning Commission, Board of Standards and Appeals, Landmarks Preservation Commission, New York City Council, Department of Buildings, Borough Presidents, Department of Buildings, Community Boards and other land use agencies, in all five boroughs. 

Wright began his career working in the public sector at NYC economic development agencies including the New York City Economic Development Corporation and the New York City Council Finance Committee. He then moved into the private sector working for land use and zoning law firms.  He has represented both for-profit and not-for-profit clients, including schools, religious organizations, and affordable housing developers. Wright is an active member of the NYC Bar Association, the Zoning Advisory Council and REBNY. 

McManus practices in the area of real estate, corporate and commercial transactions, and religious and charitable organizations areas. Prior to joining the firm, McManus worked at the New York City Law Department, Economic Development Division as a special assistant corporation counsel in Manhattan.
