Wavelength Lighting provides 124 LED lighting fixtures to Spaces

August 20, 2019 - Design / Build

Manhattan, NY Flexible workspace provider Spaces received energy-efficient light fixtures from  LED lighting distributor and project company, Wavelength Lighting. 124 of Wavelength’s LED light fixtures were installed throughout their 33,000 s/f Meatpacking location at 413 West 14th St.

The boutique co-working space was leased from Rockpoint Group in 2018 as part of a 15-year deal. The space occupies the entire ground floor of the five-story, 255,000 s/f building, originally built in 1929.

The lighting package includes direct and indirect linear light, emergency lighting, exit signs, and temporary lighting for continued construction. Spaces installed tunable lighting and control systems throughout the common area, making it easy for occupants to control the color and brightness of the lighting in the space.

The installation of LED lighting will contribute to the overall wellbeing of professionals using the space, reduce its carbon footprint, and help Spaces meet NYC’s building efficiency requirements, including the lighting provisions under Local Law 88.
