According to Buckingham Properties and Morgan Management, Ward Greenberg Heller & Reidy LLP signed a 13,172 s/f lease to move its offices to the newly renamed Legacy Tower at One Bausch & Lomb Place as of June 1, 2015. Ward Greenberg currently has offices in the High Falls area, at 300 State St., known as the Button Factory. Ward Greenberg will occupy the eighteenth floor of Legacy Tower, which was originally the home of the Bausch & Lomb law department. "Ward Greenberg is pleased to renew its long-term commitment to downtown Rochester and to the Rochester region," said Harold Kurland, a Ward Greenberg partner. "We have enjoyed our distinctive space at the Button Factory. We took a fresh look at the time of our lease renewal, and decided that moving into the premier office tower in upstate New York was a unique opportunity for our firm." Ward Greenberg Heller & Reidy LLP joins Harter Secrest & Emery LLP, another major law firm who recently signed a long-term renewal to remain at Legacy Tower. "Legacy Tower offers the highest quality class A office space in Rochester with premium amenities, which has proved attractive to Rochester's top law firms who remain committed to downtown," said Joseph Rowley, director of leasing & marketing for Buckingham Properties. "We continue to see a great deal of interest in Legacy Tower from multiple firms looking to locate downtown again to be involved in the resurgence of the city center."
