Waller of ABS Partners leases 800 s/f to Artichoke Basille’s Pizza in Williamsburg

ABS Partners Real Estate

Brooklyn, NY Artichoke Basille’s Pizza, an eatery known for its signature artichoke pizza slice, will soon open its 11th location following the completion of an 800 s/f lease by ABS Partners Real Estate. The shop signed a deal for its newest outpost at 148 North Seventh St. in the Williamsburg neighborhood. Cousins and owners Francis Garcia and Sal Basille, who are also the stars of Pizza Master on the Cooking Channel, are planning to open Artichoke’s Williamsburg location in May.  Ben Waller of ABS Partners Real Estate represented the landlord, 148 North 7th St Real Estate Corp., and the tenant.

“Opening a location in Williamsburg was no brainer for Artichoke. The area has grown tremendously in terms of residential and commercial development, making the neighborhood a 24/7 hot spot for pizza lovers,” said Waller. “Fully built restaurants with small footprints are moving quickly in this market.”

148 North Seventh St. is a retail storefront in Williamsburg. The ground-level space provides frontage along North Seventh St. and is steps from Bedford Ave., the main thoroughfare in the neighborhood. The property is near a collection of shopping and dining destinations, including The Meatball Shop, Juice Generation and Radegast Hall & Biergarten. The L and G subway lines and the East River Ferry are each a short walk away.

Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
