Walker of Foresite Realty and Rand of KW Commercial broker $650,000 sale

James Walker, principal broker of Foresite Realty Advisors NE, Inc., the listing agency, and Akiba Rand of KW Commercial, selling agent, sold the Glenridge Plaza strip center of 10,000 s/f located at 15 Glenridge Rd. They completed the sale of the property, which sold for $650,000. The transaction was initiated at the Hudson Valley Chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors (NYSCAR) during the chapter's annual two-day program. The second day is devoted to the marketing of commercial-investment real estate. Realtors have the opportunity to present to the attendees commercial-investment properties of their respective clients either as a for sale property, or, as a property whereby a client has a preference to "exchange" the offered property for a preferred replacement property, thus, providing a deferred capital gains tax advantage. Others at the marketing meeting may be representing clients who may be interested in acquiring a property through a traditional or a creative transaction structure by the application of unique transaction and financing formulas.
