Vardakas joins H2M's human resources department

Amanda Vardakas has joined the staff of H2M architects + engineers, supporting the human resources department in career development, talent acquisition and policy development. Vardakas previously worked within the human resources department of Hauppauge-based Spellman High Voltage Electronics, a worldwide electrical supplier. She was responsible for employee engagement and coordination with the company's international offices. "I am excited to join H2M and work with such a talented team," Vardakas said. "I love what I do and look forward to working with everyone here." Vardakas holds a bachelor of science in Psychology from Dowling University and a master of arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University. A Long Island native and newlywed, Vardakas spends most of her free time gardening and renovating her recently-purchased West Babylon home.
