Tvrtko Stigler has joined the staff of
H2M architects + engineer as a project engineer, supporting the electrical engineering department in arc flash assessment, short circuit analysis and overcurrent protective device coordination.
Previously, Stigler worked for Hauppague-based Stantec Consulting Services as an electrical engineer. He brings with him a specialized knowledge in analyzing electrical systems and evaluating the potential risk of electrical equipment.
Stigler is currently working alongside professional organizations within the industry in an effort to raise awareness of the hazards involved with arc flash—the passage of electricity through the air between two conductors, causing potentially fatal results.
"I look forward to sharing my knowledge of arc flash and building a safer, more aware electrical community," Stigler said.
Stigler holds a bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from City College of New York and currently resides in Jackson Heights, Queens.
