USGBC-LI hosts first LEED study group - April 29

USGBC-LI hosted its first LEED study group at Babylon's Town Hall on April 29. The program was well attended, with more than 40 participants sharing notes and studying for the stringent examination that LEED accredited professional must pass to earn their LEED AP status. The program was put together by education committee chair Jerry Tuohey, who said, "From the reaction of the folks I spoke with after the meeting it was, by their account, a great success." USGBC-LI announced the schedule of the next study group meetings, all to be held in the auditorium of the Babylon Town Hall in Lindenhurst from 5 to 8 p.m.: May 20:  Energy and Atmosphere; Group leaders Richard Manning and Paul Meyer June 3:  Materials and Recourses; Group leaders Michael Murray and Amit Bandyopadhyay  June 17:  Indoor Environmental Quality; Group leaders Paul Meyer and Amit Bandyopadhyay  June 24:  Review with all group leaders For more information about LEED and USGBC-LI's LEED study group, contact Tuohey at [email protected].
