Manhattan, NY Construction management firm Urban Atelier Group (UAG) has promoted four team members to executive-level positions and one team member to project director. This decision will support the company’s growth and facilitate expansion into new markets. The individuals promoted include Danielle Acciari, director, finance, and controller; Thomas Voutsas, vice president, project executive; Steve O’Neill, vice president, project executive; and Thomas Alaimo, vice president, preconstruction, and Sean Smith, project director.

Danielle Acciari, CPA, oversees the ateliers treasury functions and financial responsibilities, leading a team of nine accountants and providing strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
Thomas Voutsas, vice president, project executive
Operations are the foundation and core of our success and business. Voutsas boasts over 25 years of industry experience, bridging technical expertise, field and safety knowledge, and an advanced finance degree to his role. Current projects include 100 Flatbush, New York City›s first all-electric residential tower in Downtown Brooklyn, and 67 Vestry, a luxury condominium renovation and building addition in Tribeca.
Steve O’Neill, vice president, project executive
With over 25 years of experience, Steve O’Neill navigates agency approvals, addresses client requests, and mitigates operational challenges for a streamlined project. O'Neil has been instrumental in the success of several of UAG’s major condominium projects, including 25 Park Row and Westly, and the seamless construction of Bronx Point, a mixed-use affordable housing development.
Tom Alaimo, vice president, preconstruction
Preconstruction and business development are vital to sustaining UAG’s growth as the firm focuses on operations and execution. With a background in urban planning and architecture, along with vast experience in real estate development and construction, Alaimo’s unique expertise will strengthen and broaden our in-house client services and position him in his new role as vice president, preconstruction as he oversees estimating, purchasing, and business development.
Sean Smith, project director
Smith assumes his new role as project director with over a decade of industry experience, half of which has been with UAG. Smith remains dedicated to leading and fostering a positive workplace culture through mentorship while facilitating stakeholder collaboration. Recent projects include 25 Park Row and Bronx Point.
