Trulis and Massey of Avison Young lease 11,923 s/f

According to Greg Kraut, principal and managing director of Avison Young's New York City office, the company represented Focus Financial Partners, LLC in an office lease to occupy a full floor - totaling 11,923 s/f - at 825 Third Ave. The new lease will accommodate the continued growth of Focus, which is relocating from 7,400 s/f at 909 Third Ave. Owned by The Durst Org., 825 Third Ave. is a 40-story, 486,326 s/f office tower at East 50th St. "The building offered a well-priced alternative along Third Avenue with great light, city views and an efficient floor plate configuration," said Kraut, who represented Focus in the transaction along with Dana Trulis, a VP in Avison Young's New York City office, and associate Paul Massey. Kraut said, "This area of Third Avenue has become a destination for companies in search of value in a strategic Midtown locale with great access to transportation. We are very pleased to have been able to identify a new office location for Focus that effectively addresses the firm's business needs."
