All studios have been rented, and the remaining one and two-bedroom residences, most of which are on floors 22-30 and feature river, bridge or city views, are available for immediate occupancy.
All units feature hardwood strip flooring with walnut finish; solid core doors; central air conditioning and heat; solar shades; and custom built-out closets with multiple hanging bars and shelving. The 30-story building has 168 apartments, 133 of which are market-rate.
"Renters were quick to recognize the quality and attention-to-detail the developer put into every aspect of The Lara," said Adam Disick, CEO of Triumph Property Group, the firm handling marketing and leasing of the building. "This, along with The Lara's extensive amenity offerings, the building's great location in the heart of the fast-growing neighborhood and its close proximity to many offices, has been key. We are thrilled with the pace of leasing, especially considering the treacherous winter we had. We expect the remaining apartments to lease up at a similar stride."
Residents can join the Nassau Club @ The Lara, 10,000 s/f of amenities over two floors, with two expansive outdoor terraces, in addition to a stunning roof deck. Amenity spaces are scheduled to open this spring.
The fifth-floor lounge features a library, television and a fireplace. A coffee and Italian soda bar and custom, gourmet kitchen with Miele appliances are ideal for entertaining. The outdoor lounge will complement the interior space, complete with designer landscaping, a waterfall and floating moongate sculpture, in addition to an outdoor television screening area and pool table.
On the sixth floor, residents will enjoy a multi-screened gaming/media room with the latest gaming consoles, Apple TV and Netflix capabilities. A large fitness center is outfitted with Cybex cardio equipment with embedded televisions and Hoist strength training machines. The adjoining boxing studio features an interactive Nexersys training machine along with other boxing equipment, as well as a ballet barre. There is also a terrace off the fitness center that will have ping-pong tables.
The furnished roof deck offers yet another lounge area, this one with a wet bar and grills, as well as views of the Freedom Tower, Brooklyn Bridge, the East River and other sights along southern and western Manhattan. Residents will be able to enjoy movies on the rooftop outdoor television, and take a look at the city through the building's observation binoculars.
Residents enter The Lara through the well-designed lobby with white Nano glass floors and zebrawood walls. Apartments feature hardwood strip flooring with a walnut finish. Kitchens have white Nano glass countertops, integrated/paneled Blomberg or Liebherr refrigerators, Blomberg dishwashers, and Bertazzoni professional-style oven ranges. All kitchens have garbage disposals. Baths boast Duravit basins and toilets, Kohler bathtubs, Grohe faucets and porcelain tile flooring.
The two-bedrooms, the largest units in the building and on the upper floors, feature water views as well as views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, the harbor and the Brooklyn Skyline. They have more than 25 feet of hanging closet bar space, wok rings on the high-output double burners of the Bertazzoni oven ranges, and balconies.
There is a building-wide water filtration system and back-up generation for elevators, hallway lights and water.
Office and retail spaces are available on the ground through fifth floors.
