Tomita and Weber of Winick Realty broker 520 s/f lease for Laila Rowe

Laila Rowe, the women's jewelry and accessory shop with 17 retail stores on the East Coast, has leased its first Downtown location at 99 Wall St., between Front St. and Water St. Winick Realty Group LLC represented both parties in this long-term lease transaction, which brings the retailer to an area that also includes upscale tenants Thomas Pink, BMW and Tiffany. "Wall Street is a great fit for Laila Rowe," said Jayme Tomita, an associate at Winick. "In addition to the daytime traffic, there is a growing residential population with many nearby lofts and office buildings being converted into apartments." The 520 s/f space is on the ground floor and includes a partial basement. "It's a small space but it's sized perfectly for their market," said Winick Realty Group LLC director Robert Weber, who represented landlord The Claremont Group with Tomita. This is the third deal Weber has brokered on behalf of The Claremont Group. Established in 1982, Winick Realty Group LLC is one of New York's prominent real estate firms specializing in retail leasing and advisory services. Over the years, Winick Realty has served a broad range of domestic and global clients, with a strong emphasis on long-term representation and expansion and growth strategies. Winick Realty Group LLC is highly recognized as a forerunner in the retail real estate market.

Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
