Tobias and Hidary to open 4,000 s/f high-end baby boutique at 361 Avenue U in Brooklyn's Gravesend neighborhood

Dimples Baby, a chic baby boutique specializing in high-end nursery furniture and accessories, is opening its first store on the retail-heavy Avenue U in the Gravesend neighborhood, according to Dimples Baby co-owners Grace Tobias and Yvette Hidary. The 4,000 s/f store, located at 361 Avenue U, offers premier brands of high-end baby merchandise, including Netto Collection furniture, Bugaboo strollers, Avalisa artwork, Petunia Picklebottom diaper bags, and Serena and Lily bedding. In addition, Dimples Baby will offer unique personalized pieces of modern nursery textiles and accessories. "Our goal is to offer a selection of baby merchandise so extensive that parents will no longer have to sacrifice their personal style when the little one comes along," says Tobias. "We see Dimples Baby as a shopping retreat for moms," adds Hidary. "Our retail neighbors include a stylish maternity fashion store, a make-up/skincare boutique and a vintage consignment shop. In short, a day on the strip is an ideal outing for new mothers and moms-to-be." Dimples Baby is the brainchild of Tobias, conceived in conjunction with Hidary. The store is geared toward the fashionable customers drawn to this shopping area, which includes such high-end neighbors as Jimmy's, Mylo Maternity, and Kiss & Make Up. An e-commerce website is in the works for early 2008.
