Tighe of CBRE addresses members at YM/WREA's February luncheon

Mary Ann Tighe, CBRE CEO, New York Tri-State region, addressed a packed audience of YM/WREA members and guests at the organization's luncheon in Midtown. Among a myriad of topics, Tighe discussed eminent domain as crucial to New York City's growth; the need to focus on expanding our infrastructure, as exemplified by the extension of the number 7 subway line; and the importance of preserving middle and lower class housing to retain our workforce. Established in 1948, with a membership totaling 400, YM/WREA promotes greater understanding and knowledge of the real estate industry among its constituents through its monthly luncheons and variety of philanthropic activities including Habitat for Humanity Build Day, Central Park Clean-Up Day, an Annual Blood Drive, among others, in addition to many social functions.
