TICKETECH hires Saccullo as software development and information technology director

TICKETECH, an industry leader and pioneer in parking industry technology for dense urban environments, has hired software veteran Daniel Saccullo to oversee product development and information technology for the growing company. As director of software development and information technology, he will work with TICKETECH's valet/attended parking facility clients, supporting existing systems and assisting in the development and implementation of new applications. Along with managing the department's day-to-day operations that include networking support, user services and telecommunications, he will work with TICKETECH's senior management team on the development of new technology projects and advise on the integration of third party software that currently includes apps enabling consumers to manage parking activities from their smartphones. The latest apps offer services that run the gamut from finding nearby garages with available spaces, to checking parking rates, making reservations, providing downloadable coupons and enabling mobile payments. "In addition to ensuring the quality and performance of our existing systems at all the facilities we service, there are a plethora of technology decisions we need to make here every day," said TICKETECH C.O.O. Mauricio Cotto. "The breadth of Daniel's experience in software engineering combined with his extensive background in systems management make him a perfect fit for the company and its growth initiatives, especially at a time when technology advancements abound. Each and every decision must be fully vetted to ensure it is appropriate and necessary to supporting our clients' business goals." Prior to joining TICKETECH, Saccullo was Owner/CEO of Latin American-based Fenix Software SA. Clients included medical equipment supplier On the Right Track, for which he designed and developed an automated estimation application, and Beauty Intelligence, where he served as technical advisor for the development of a web- and mobile-based application involving face recognition technology. Prior to that, Saccullo spent 4 years as Software Development Manager for Cole Systems Associates, a New York-based, Microsoft Gold Certified partner, and 11 years in IT management and programming for the Geneva Mortgage Corporation. Saccullo began his career at the Manning Group in Mexico City, where he oversaw a broad range of PR, sales and marketing functions while penetrating new markets in Latin America.
