On December 10, the New York Real Estate Division of the Diabetes Research Institute held their 30th Annual Empire Ball. Approximately 1,000 guests were on hand to congratulate this year's honorees: Distinguished Service Award recipient Frederick Horwood, assistant general counsel of Time Warner, Inc., Camillo Ricordi Humanitarian Award recipient Stephen Soviero, senior managing director of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. and Leadership Award recipient J. Jay Cross, president, Hudson Yards, a Related Oxford Venture. This event raised over $1.2 million dollars.
