This time of year gives us a chance to reflect on successes

Where did 2008 go? Between good news and ongoing challenges, elections and business triumphs, it is difficult to believe that the holiday season is here. But even as we begin the often-frantic preparations that accompany this time of year, we must remember that we live and work in one of the best places in the world. The shoppers who crowd New York City's streets are amazing, and we're particularly looking forward to their bustle to boost the city's economy. This moment also gives us the chance to reflect on our successes, and NYCREW has much to celebrate. With such wonderful events as the Global Real Estate Investing Roundup and the Summer Breakfast and Industry Spotlight series, we provided a unique variety of opportunities to network, learn from each other, and simply have fun. To enhance the special things that have happened this year, please enjoy this decadent token of appreciation. Some of our cherished clients have generously donated gifts, so thanks to Papyrus, Cornelia Day Resort, Madame Paulette, The Bath Junkie, Martine's Chocolates and Chanel for making our event even brighter! Once again, it is an occasion to honor those who've given outstanding efforts to our organization. As an award sponsor, I'm delighted to congratulate: Professionalism: Liz Muskat; Referrals: Elaine Philis Mentoring: Our Community Outreach Committee consisting of Pauline Anderson Brown, Barbara Champoux, Dotty Cunningham, Marilyn Kane, Kennetha Pettus, Aliza Stern, and Jennifer Stewart Apex: Anna Cassan de Valry Their hard work is an example to us all, and one of the many reasons our group continues to grow as more women band together to expand our influence in and passion for real estate. NYCREW, simply, is you. Faith Hope Consolo is the chairman of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Leasing and Sales Division and a director of the New York Chapter of CREW Network, New York, N.Y.
