The Stahl Organization's 388 Bridge is 50% leased

Developer, The Stahl Org., has reached 50% leased at 388 Bridge St. (388 Bridge). Currently one of the borough's tallest residential developments towering at 590 ft., the 53-story and 378-unit high-rise includes a mix of 234 rental apartments and 144 condominiums. With one rental unit being leased per day, the exclusive leasing and marketing team - Halstead Property Development Marketing - expects for the remaining 90 apartments to be leased up quickly. "388 Bridge St. has been extremely well received by renters ranging from young professionals to families," said Gregg Wolpert, co-president of the Stahl Org. "From a rental perspective, the tower is attractive to prospective residents because it offers the opportunity to live in residences with quality, high-level condo finishes, upgraded appliances and spacious layouts. We have the best product in Downtown Brooklyn, and the success of 388 Bridge Street's leasing efforts reflect that." Designed by SLCE, the rental apartments - located on the 7th through 31st floors - represent the epitome of luxury living boasting floor-to-ceiling windows with surrounding views of N.Y.C., solar shades installed in every unit, nine-ft. ceilings and three-inch gray wash white oak floors. Additionally, all homes include Bosch Axxis washers and dryers; kitchens are equipped with GE stainless steel appliances, dark grey quartz countertops and attractive textured grey cabinets with stainless steel banding. Bathrooms feature vertical-stacked tiles, white quartz sink decks, ceramic sinks and polished chrome faucets. All residents of 388 Bridge enjoy nearly 8,000 s/f of combined indoor and outdoor amenity space which includes a lounge and party room with kitchen pantry; children's playroom, media/screening room and fitness center. The fifth floor outdoor terrace features a barbeque grilling area, children's playground and ipe-wood deck for dining and lounging. There is also a shared viewing terrace on the roof providing tenants with amazing views of New York Harbor, the Statue of Liberty, Manhattan, New Jersey and six bridges. Components of 388 Bridge include its color-changing crown that is powered by the building's two wind-turbines and its FujiTec elevators that rise 1,000 ft.-per-minute, giving 388 Bridge Street the distinction of having the fastest elevators in Brooklyn. The building also features a natural gas-fired emergency electrical generator and a live-in super. 388 Bridge is located in the heart of downtown Brooklyn, steps away from 12 subway lines and the Long Island Railroad. The area includes the newly opened Barclays Center and retailers such as Nordstrom Rack, Armani Exchange, H & M, American Apparel, T.J. Maxx, Century 21 and Shake Shack. This diverse and creative community is also home to the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), ISSUE Project Room, Brooklyn Ballet, Actors Fund Arts Center, Roulette, Mark Morris Dance Group, Irondale Center for Theatre, MoCADA and Theater for a New Audience.
