The Moinian Group elevates Meir to AVP

Manhattan, NY The Moinian Group has promoted of Adin Meir to associate vice president (AVP) of energy and sustainability. Within this new role, Meir will continue to develop and execute asset specific strategies to reduce the energy and carbon use across the firm’s portfolio, as well as integrate emerging sustainable technologies to capture value and boost operational performance for the firm as it continues expanding its sustainability practice.

Since joining The Moinian Group in 2023 as director of sustainability, Meir has driven and implemented multiple initiatives that have boosted the sustainable and operational performance across the firm’s portfolio. Most notably over the last year, Meir has reduced the overall carbon emissions portfolio wide by 20% and oil consumption by 30% and secured $300,000 from NYSERDA to train The Moinian Group’s workforce to ensure all assets are operated in the most efficient manner possible. 

Meir’s career in sustainability and commercial real estate spans more than a decade. Prior to joining the Moinian Group, he served as president at CodeGreen Solutions, spearheading the firm’s profitability improvements and growth in top-line revenue as well as establishing a defined ESG product strategy and suite.

Meir is an active member of the New York City community, serving on the board of directors at various organizations across the region including the Real Estate Board of New York Sustainability Committee.
