The Loop demo session held at The Center October 14

Binghamton-LOOPBinghamton, NY A demonstration session of The Loop was held at The Center on October 14. The Loop is a Binghamton-based startup located in The Center. The company created an app-based network of local businesses and consumers, where consumers earn 20-50% of their purchases in Loop Cash, and then can use that Loop Cash to receive discounts and deals anywhere within the network. The company believes there is tremendous power in an alliance of local businesses and local consumers where consumers save extra money in exchange for higher loyalty and increased shopping within the network. Consumers download the app on their phone at www.LoopRewards.com. Consumers then shop at any business in The Loop, and are always either adding Loop Cash to their balance, or spending Loop Cash to receive discounts and deals. The Loop’s goal is to facilitate a “Win-Win” relationship with local businesses and local consumers, which benefits the local community. Along those lines is “Loop Back,” a new way for the community to “Win” when consumers and businesses also “Win.” During Loop Back Charity drives, The Loop will donate $5 to a local charity every time a new consumer downloads the Loop App. More members in the Loop means more revenue for local businesses and more savings for consumers in The Loop. We believe that strong local businesses, consumer savings, and charitable support are key to a healthy local community. There are approximately 30 local businesses in the Loop and the network is still growing. New businesses are being added all the time. For the most current business list simply download the Loop app. We expect to have between 100-150 businesses when the network if fully complete. Membership is free for consumers. For businesses, there is a low monthly subscription fee.
