On Thursday, April 23, leaders in the construction industry will have an opportunity to come face to face with the new technology and innovations of environmentally-friendly building at the Building Green 2009 Expo & Workshops at 7 World Trade Center from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The expo will focus on key issues surrounding the construction industry and sustainability as a way of life by promoting energy efficiency and environmentally friendly techniques, including the following workshops: Sustainable Project Management: How to Approach a Sustainable Project; Energy Incentive Programs: Which can be applied to your project?; What is the Green Globes Rating System?; and an open forum discussion where questions will be answered by industry experts.
During the expo, participants will have the opportunity to interact with exhibitors of leading building green companies and see innovative designs that are changing the way we construct buildings, recycle and reuse materials, as well as compact, separate and extract construction and building waste.
