Teplick of Centro brokers 2,506 s/f for Sprint at Rockland Plaza; Gerstenhaber of Centro and LoFaso of Sienna Realty ink 1,236 s/f for Premier Technologies

According to Centro Properties Group, a 2,506 s/f Sprint store recently opened at Rockland Plaza, located .3 miles east of I-287 East/I-87 South from exit 14, on West Rte. 59 at Middleton Rd. (Rte. 33). Gene Berger of Aries, Deitch & Endelson represented Sprint. Centro is the owner of Rockland Plaza and was represented by Steve Teplick with Centro. In a second transaction, a 1,236 s/f Premier Technologies, a retailer of AT&T brand cellular telephones and related services and accessories, recently opened at Genesee Valley Shopping Center, located north of I-390, on Lakeville Rd. (Rte. 20A) at Ryan Dr. in Geneseo, N.Y. Frederic LoFaso of Sienna Realty of Buffalo, represented Premier Technologies. Centro is the owner of Genesee Valley Shopping Center and was represented by David Gerstenhaber of Centro. Centro Properties Group is the third largest owner of community and neighborhood shopping centers in the US. Its portfolio of approximately 600 properties is strategically located across 39 states and aggregates approximately 98 million square feet of gross leasable area.

2024 Year in Review: William O’Brien, M.C. O’Brien, Inc.

What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact. Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
