David Hartness of 1031 Exchange Strategies Inc. - OMNI OSJ Branch office was elected to serve a two-year term as a registered representative on the board of directors. In the broker/dealer category, Shanon Ford, Pacific West Securities Inc. and Greg Paul, OMNI Brokerage, were both elected to a two-year term. In the sponsor category, Randy Beckman, Grubb & Ellis and John Boyd, TIC Properties LLC will serve two-year terms. Lastly, Darryl Steinhause, Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP, was re-elected as the affiliate member, serving a two-year term.
"TICA is looking forward to having these individuals serve on the board of directors," Patricia DelRosso, TICA president said. "The new board members will bring new ideas and perspectives that will benefit the association and industry as a whole."
TICA's board of directors will elect a president-elect at their January meeting. Effective January 1, 2009, Bill Winn, will replace Patricia DelRosso as president.
As per TICA's bylaws, sponsor members vote for sponsor candidates, broker/dealer members vote for broker/dealer candidates and registered representative members vote for registered representative candidates.
Established in 2003, TICA is a non-profit organization focused on the success of the fractional ownership industry. TICA promotes the highest ethical standards and provides education and information to its members and the entire tenant-in-common (TIC) community.
