What do you like best about being a woman in the AEC industry? Through my involvement on the board of Professional Women in Construction-NYC and as a construction advisor, I enjoy working with companies and their employees to develop skills to grow their businesses.
What do you like best about being a woman in the AEC industry? I enjoy the AEC industry overall because of the daily challenges that are overcome. I am able to build and see the amazing transformation of NYC spaces and the talented people I encounter and get to work with every day.
What do you like best about being a woman in the AEC industry? What I appreciate most about being a woman in the AEC industry is witnessing the positive shift in recognition and equality. It’s refreshing to experience equal opportunities as an immigrant
What recent project, accomplishment or award are you most proud of? I am proud of all my projects because with each one I have been able to make my clients happy during the process. Recently, the projects that I have been most proud of included closing out and obtaining the Final Certificate of Occupancy
What do you like best about being a woman in the AEC industry? It’s incredibly inspiring to witness the growth of women in construction, both in the office and on job sites, as well as architects and engineers. Reflecting on my 24-year journey,
What recent project, accomplishment or award are you most proud of? I have had the privilege of working on award-winning luxury residential projects such as 53 West 53 and One57, each exhibiting unique design and constructability challenges.
What recent project, accomplishment or award are you most proud of? I’ve experienced significant growth in my life this past year. I gave birth to a healthy baby girl in May, and the same month Stuyvesant Cove Park opened along the Manhattan waterfront
What recent project, accomplishment or award are you most proud of? My proudest accomplishment this last year was my promotion to assistant project manager and given the opportunity to advance my career. I look forward to becoming actively more involved in the overall construction process
What do you like best about being a woman in the AEC industry? I love shattering stereotypes and challenging expectations to show that gender doesn’t define ability. Being a beacon of change in a male-dominated field is empowering and I’m grateful for the women before me who broke barriers and cleared paths.
