Swig of Swig Equities among elected members of The N.Y.C. Police Museum Board of Trustees

The New York City Police Museum elected four new members to its Board of Trustees. The newly elected members include Kent Swig, president of Swig Equities and owner and co-chairman of Terra Holdings, LLC, Dennis Klein, partner at Nussbaum Yates Berg Klein & Wolpow, LLP, MaryEllen O'Donohue, senior vice president, director at Manning Selvage & Lee, and Sandra Capek, senior director at BNY Mellon. "It is an honor to be chosen as a member of The New York City Police Museum's Board of Trustees. The museum has truly established itself as a great contribution to the New York community and I am thrilled to be involved with such a worthy cause," said Kent Swig. "We are thrilled to elect these four individuals onto our Board. Each and every one of them exemplifies the spirit of New York and dedication to the highest ideals of New York City's Finest," said Julie Bose, executive director of The New York City Police Museum. Housed in the landmark building that was New York City's 1st Precinct, the Police Museum captures the rich history of the world's most famous police force, the NYPD. Entertaining exhibits and videos detail the highs and lows of being a New York City police officer during the past 160 years. Visitors hear first person stories about every facet of police life in this city - from the mounted unit, the vice squad, hostage negotiations and detective work to the evolution and empowerment of women on the Force. The September 11th exhibit reminds us all about the bravery and dedication it takes to be one of New York City's Finest. The New York City Police Museum is located at 100 Old Slip, between Water and South Streets, and is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Suggested admission is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for seniors, students and children aged six to eighteen. Museum members and children under six are free. There is no charge for members of the NYPD.
