October 15, 2024 - National News

Philadelphia, PA FCA, a full-service architecture, planning and design firm, has welcomed Svigals + Partners into its organization. This partnership unites two forces under one mission: to improve lives through design, blending subject matter expertise with a bold creative outlook.

Together, FCA and Svigals + Partners will expand their shared capabilities to deliver design solutions across healthcare, science and technology, education, corporate workplace, mixed-use, and the civic/community sectors. With the addition of Svigals + Partners’ talent and legacy, the combined firm’s footprint now spans five offices from Connecticut to Florida.

“This is a transformative moment for both firms,” said president of FCA Aran McCarthy, AIA, NCARB. “By joining forces, we’re expanding our capacity to create meaningful spaces that benefit the lives of users. At the heart of this partnership is a shared culture and passion for design that serves a greater purpose. We couldn’t be more excited about the future we’ll build together.”

Svigals + Partners’ commitment to blending architecture, art, and storytelling strongly aligns with FCA’s strategic, co-creative approach to design. Svigals will operate under the name “Svigals + Partners, an FCA company,” ensuring continuity while integrating into FCA’s operations. Clients can expect the same collaborative, open-communication process, with even greater resources and a deeper well of talent to deliver impactful design solutions.

“Our team is excited to join the FCA family,” said Jay Brotman, managing partner at Svigals + Partners. “The depth of talent we now have together across multiple sectors takes us all to a new level, ensuring every project we approach enhances the lives of those who experience it.”
