Susan Penzner Real Estate leases 800 s/f to Margaret O'Leary for 11th boutique
According to Susan Penzner Real Estate, Margaret O'Leary has signed a five-year lease with an option at 279 Mott St., between Prince and East Houston. The store is 800 s/f with a full basement. The tenant was represented by Susan Penzner and Ryan Milliken, and the landlord was represented by Drunell Levinson and Sebastien Lindenmayer of Halstead Commercial.
Hailing from County Kerry, Ireland, O'Leary immigrated to San Francisco. She created a full collection, and launched her first store on San Francisco's Claude Lane. She now has 10 boutiques, and arrives to New York to launch her 11th boutique in Nolita.
O'Leary's collections are cultivated from her unique design sensibility that marries timeless luxury with the aesthetic of the California coast.
"Our expansion to the East Coast is a natural and timely progression for us after years of success on the West Coast," said O'Leary. "The Nolita neighborhood and our new store perfectly translate our brand for New York. After years of shopping with us on the West Coast, I am thrilled to bring the women of New York a store of their own!"
Designed by Cass Calder, the boutique is located in the heart of Nolita on Mott St. The interior elements are warm and inviting, featuring aged wood balancing and the texture of knits featured on crisp white display islands.
