Stoltz joins HOK to lead New York consulting practice

HOK has hired Adam Stoltz to lead its N.Y. consulting practice. He was previously a practice leader delivering real estate and portfolio strategy, workplace, and change management services nationally, out of the Washington, D.C. office of real estate services firm CBRE. He brings private and public-sector experience having completed strategic assignments with dozens of Fortune 500 organizations and federal agencies. Prior to CBRE, Inc., Stoltz established the Mid-Atlantic presence of DEGW (later acquired by AECOM) building a successful consulting practice focused on identifying how behavior and organizational performance are measurably impacted by the design of built, natural and social environments, and the policies that guide them. "It's an exciting time to be joining HOK, our colleagues in NY, and the global consulting practice," Stoltz said. "The legacy of HOK consulting continues to evolve, building on core service strengths of strategic master planning, workplace strategy, and change management. Ultimately, it's about helping organizations align their approach to the provision and design of space with the needs of their people, and the needs of the business." "Adam's appointment complements HOK's focus of helping clients work towards a solution to problems through advice and design at all stages," said Tom Polucci, director of interiors in HOK's New York office. "The effort to raise HOK's visibility began in 2011 with our move to Bryant Park and the center of New York; hiring Adam is another step in support of that ongoing pursuit," said Carl Galioto, managing principal of HOK's New York office. HOK's consulting work in New York includes work for Morgan Stanley, The General Services Administration, Mitre and MetLife. Recent projects for HOK's New York office include Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Aegis Media, Avon, Strategies for Wealth, and Horizon Blue Cross / Blue Shield. HOK is a global design, architecture, engineering and planning firm. Through a network of 24 offices worldwide, HOK provides design excellence and innovation to create places that enrich people's lives and help clients succeed. For four consecutive years, DesignIntelligence has ranked HOK as a leader in sustainable and high-performance design.
