What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2020?
My greatest professional accomplishment this year was assisting several of our commercial real estate clients who are considering converting office and industrial properties to attract life sciences tenants. With an interior design portfolio of over 50 laboratory and research projects for life sciences, flavor, and fragrance companies such as Givaudan, Robertet, Firmenich, and Martin Bauer, we were able to guide landlords through feasibility studies and then design upgrades required by life sciences tenants. I am also very proud of successfully maintaining a steady workload of laboratory and commercial office design projects in New York City and New Jersey throughout the pandemic, keeping our staff occupied, without any layoffs. These latest projects included the U.S. headquarters of Lloyds of London and headquarters of Counsel Press.
