Stellar begins the development of OTTO in Greenpoint

Brooklyn, NY Stellar Management, one of New York City’s premier owners and operators of residential and commercial real estate, has launched OTTO, the developer’s new rental building in Greenpoint and their first solo ground-up project. The property will offer an array of amenities as well as a 360-degree views of the city.

Located at 211 McGuinness Blvd., OTTO is close to the G train. The 197-unit, eight-story building will offer a mixture of studios, one and two-bedroom apartments.

The property features a full-time doorman and package and storage rooms, as well as on-site parking and bike storage. The amenities reflect a community-focused approach to living, including a tenant-share library and game room with a fireplace and pool table. The lounge has a 100-inch TV, full kitchen, bathroom, and direct access to an outdoor garden. The gym, located on the top floor, features a fully equipped fitness center with Peloton bikes, state-of-the-art workout equipment, and expansive windows that flood the space with natural light and provide stunning views. The roof covers the entire span of the building and includes a swimming pool and hot tub, an outdoor TV, multiple BBQ grills, and a spacious grassy lawn.

“As our first solo ground-up project, it was important to us that OTTO brings the same things we love about Greenpoint – mainly its strong sense of community - to our tenants. The quality and range of amenities at OTTO are meant to create an open environment that encourages strong neighborly connections,”  said Adam Roman, Chief Operating Officer and Prinicpal at Stellar Management. “As we see shifts in the living style of younger renters, we are careful to make sure our buildings cater to those changing needs.”

OTTO’s thoughtfully designed units feature floor-to-ceiling windows, washers and dryers, dishwashers and most units have private outdoor space. The doors to each residence are equipped with Latch fixtures – a key optional, coded entry system that allows for seamless apartment access.

The building was designed by architecture firm Gene Kaufman Architects and is the architect’s first project in Greenpoint. Leasing for the units will be handled by CitiHabitats and retail by Levitan Real Estate.

In addition to the G train, OTTO is just a short walk from the East River Ferry and a nearby Chariot stop. The property is surrounded by a number of food, drink and shopping options, including Paulie Gee’s, Adelina’s and Esm
