White Plains, NY At the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors Member Appreciation Day, Matt McAllister, chief operating officer of Statewide Abstract, received the Stephanie Crispinelli Humanitarian Award for 2023. McAllister is also a Realtor with Corcoran Baer & McIntosh in Nyack.

The award is a tribute to the memory of Stephanie Crispinelli, who lost her life in the 2010 earthquake in Haiti while volunteering to aid families in need. Crispinelli was the daughter of fellow Realtor Lin Crispinelli of Houlihan Lawrence, and this award serves as a lasting testament to her legacy.

“Matt has earned this year’s accolade as the embodiment of the ultimate volunteer. His unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes has left an indelible mark, both within the HG Realtor Foundation and in various other initiatives. His selfless spirit and outstanding achievements continue to inspire us all,” said Crystal Hawkins-Syska, chair of HGAR’s Recognition Committee.

and former HGAR president.

McAllister’s dedication extends to a wide array of events organized by Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors (HGAR), from CID meetings to Breakfast with Benefits, local volunteer events, and more. His active participation and enthusiasm have consistently enriched these gatherings.

In addition to his philanthropic efforts, McAllister is an accomplished athlete who has taken on arduous marathons and other physically demanding challenges, all in the name of raising funds for charitable causes. A recent feat saw him embark on a 142-mile bike ride through the rugged terrain of Colorado, where he rallied support and raised nearly $3,000 for the HG Realtor Foundation.

He has been instrumental in organizing volunteer events at various non-profit organizations, including Hillside Food Outreach, Green Chimneys, Westchester County Parks, and many more. Currently, he serves as the Chair of the HG Realtor Foundation Project Committee, which meticulously coordinates volunteer activities. In the ongoing year, the Committee has successfully executed an impressive total of 16 events, underscoring McAllister’s exceptional leadership.

“I am truly humbled to receive this award. It came as a complete surprise since this work is not done with the intent of recognition and I will use this as motivation for taking on more in 2024. Finding a cause to support makes it all seem worthwhile. To me, it’s all about helping the communities we serve in the real estate industry,” stated McAllister.

McAllister began working at Statewide Abstract in 2015. After starting on the production team, he moved into a sales role to round out his breadth of understanding in the title industry. As the COO he is focused on Statewide’s growth. He is also a licensed Realtor in the Westchester County market. His work as a realtor has given him an in-depth understanding of the transaction which helps him provide exceptional service to his title clients. He was also honored as a 40 Under 40 Rising Star by the Business Council of Westchester in 2022.
