Stanford and Rossignol of CBRE lease 2,196 s/f retail space to Carlo’s Bakery

New York, NY CBRE inked Carlo’s Bakery, a national baked goods shop founded by Cake Boss Buddy Valastro, to a new retail lease at 1500 Broadway. Carlo’s Bakery committed to 2,196 s/f of ground floor retail space that will serve as its newest Manhattan location.

CBRE’s Anthony Stanford and Henry Rossignol spearhead the retail leasing campaign at 1500 Broadway on behalf of the ownership, ZAPCO 1500 Investments, L.P., and Newmark’s Jeffrey Roseman represented Carlo’s Bakery in the lease negotiations.

“1500 Broadway is located in the heart of Times Square, one of most recognizable and highly-trafficked retail corridors in the city,” said Stanford.

“We were able to secure a retail deal that benefits both the property and the surrounding neighborhood,” said Rossignol.

Located between 43rd and 44th Sts., 1500 Broadway is a 500,000 s/f class A office tower located in the Times Sq. Bow Tie. The building is adjacent to ABC News’ Good Morning America studio, where the show is broadcast live each morning, in addition to sharing its home with the New Year’s Eve ball drop. 1500 Broadway is directly across from the Times Sq. subway, New York City’s most trafficked station, and is also within walking distance to Grand Central, Port Authority and Penn Station
