SONYMA offering 2% mortgages for Habitat for Humanity-built homes

The State of New York Mortgage Agency (SONYMA) is launching an innovative $5 million, 2% fixed-rate mortgage program in support of the Habitat for Humanity homeownership program in NYS. The program will create new resources for affordable home production across the state. SONYMA will also offer closing cost assistance to borrowers as part of its low-cost mortgage partnership with Habitat.
