The Community Pre-servation Corp. (CPC) has financed $39.813 million for the following:
* A $17.57 million loan to build two five-story buildings on 143-159 Classon Ave. The loan was arranged by Hilary Weinstein of CPC.
* A $17.5 million loan to build a 26-story building on 29-00 Queens Plaza, Long Island City. The loan was arranged by Danny Wheeler of CPC.
* A $1.8 million loan for the construction of a five-story building on Ainslie St. The loan was arranged by Susan Foresta of CPC.
* A Freddie Mac second mortgage of $1.56 million was provided by CPC for the refinancing of a five-story building on 61-63 West 108th St. The loan was arranged by Bruce Dale of CPC.
* A Freddie Mac second mortgage of $1.383 million for improvements of six, six-story walk-up apartment houses on 1185-97 Anderson Ave.; 1210, 1220 and 1230 Woodycrest Ave.; and 1220 Shakespeare Ave. The loan was arranged by Dale.
Queens, NY The Domain Companies closed on $175.6 million in financing with Wells Fargo for a new mixed-income housing project called Elara, which will deliver 429 new apartments in one of the city’s fastest-growing neighborhoods. “Astoria is one of New York’s most vibrant and culturally rich neighborhoods, and it has long held a special place in Domain’s history.
