Smith of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT named LICN Realtor of the Year

Edward Smith, Jr. of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT was named the Long Island Commercial Networks (LICN) 2012 Realtor of the Year. The award was presented by LICN president and last year's award winner, Bob Stark, at the LICN annual summer outing, held at the Glen Cove Country Club. Smith was recognized for his ongoing support of the organization and his contributions to the commercial real estate industry. Smith was a founding member of the LICN and served as president from 2004 to 2006; he has continued to serve on the board of directors. He has helped develop the education efforts of the LICN, which now holds quarterly commercial orientation classes for Realtors. In addition he has been the group's guest speaker on many occasions. Smith serves as the Northeast regional director for Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT. He is an author and instructor of commercial continuing education courses, books and articles on commercial and investment real estate. LICN is the Commercial Division of the Long Island Board of Realtors.
