Slavin of H2M selected as one of LI's 2010 Top 50 Most Influential Women

According to H2M Labs, INC, an environmental testing laboratory firm, Joann Slavin, senior vice president has been selected as one of Long Island's 2010 Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business. This honor recognizes the significant contributions of women professionals to the region's economy and to the communities in where they do business. This is the second year that Slavin has been selected as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business on Long Island. "The H2M family is proud to have Joann honored by the Long Island Community. Her technical knowledge coupled with a keen sense of management and interpersonal skills make her a leader to be emulated," said John Molloy, PE, president and CEO of H2M and H2M Labs, Inc. The awards ceremony, hosted by Long Island Business News was held at The Crest Hollow Country Club on the evening of Thursday, May 20. Slavin started with H2M in 1980 as a chemist. Slavin received both an M.S. and B.S. degree in Toxicology from St. John's University. She is on the Board Directors of the New York Association of Approved Environmental Laboratories as well as a member and she is the president of the Melville Rotary.
