Koundourakis receives 2009 Rising Star Award

Hariklia Koundourakis was recently named the recipient of the 2009 "Rising Star in Commercial" Award from Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT, Long Island Metro. This is an annual award given out by Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT, Long Island Metro, to one professional in their company who is new to the commercial real estate brokerage arena, but has taken the initiative towards becoming a future "star." The selection is made by the regional director of commercial real estate, and approved by the local company president. According to regional director Edward Smith, "We are delighted to present this award to Hariklia. This recognition was designed to acknowledge the one individual in our company who has demonstrated a strong commitment towards developing their commercial brokerage business by taking additional training, and effectively finding and working with new clients and customers - someone we feel is on the fast track to future success. There's no one who fits that bill more in our company than Hariklia and we congratulate her on receiving this honor." Koundourakis is a Certified Commercial Leasing & Sales specializing in tenant/landlord representation, retail leasing, and multifamily investing. She joined Coldwell Banker Commercial (NRT) in September 2008 and quickly embraced all the tools and resources the CBC platform offered. She has successfully completed the Top Dog program as well as other courses offered through Coldwell Banker Commercial's Commercial University. She has also earned the CBR (Certified Buyer Representation) designation and is pursuing her Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation. Koundourakis is currently working as a tenant rep for several clients in a variety of industries, including wine and liquor, the food and restaurant business and the health and fitness industry. She is and has strong contacts/relationships with international clients, particularly throughout Greece. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT, Koundourakis served as a Marketing and Project Management Assistant for one of Manhattan's most luxurious real estate developers. Koundourakis has also owned two successful and fitness clubs for over 10 years as well as a personal training and life coaching business.
