SL Green signs Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo to 101,394 s/f at 919 Third Ave.

New York, NY According to SL Green Realty Corp., Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., a full-service Am Law 100 firm, has signed a 101,394 s/f, 20-year lease, covering floors 37-39 and partial concourse level at 919 Third Ave. The 47-story tower will become the firm’s New York headquarters.

Moshe Sukenik, Eric Zemachson and Jason Perla of Newmark & Company Real Estate, Inc. represented Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. in the transaction. SL Green was represented in-house.

“We’re delighted to welcome Mintz, Levin, et al to 919 Third Ave.,” said Steven Durels, executive vice president and director of leasing and real property at SL Green. “This large new lease is further confirmation of an improving leasing market as tenants increasingly make long term commitments in preparation for a return to office.”

Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, 919 Third Ave. is a 1.5 million s/f, 47-story glass and steel office tower spanning the entire block between East 55th and 56th Sts. Boasting a prestigious tenant roster and panoramic views the tower is currently undergoing significant capital improvement upgrades, including a new lobby featuring a high-design espresso bar, new plaza entrance, new bike room, new elevator cabs and new bathrooms.
