SL Green signs 26,080 s/f of leases at 810 Seventh Avenue; Brightwood Capital and DH Capital
According to SL Green Realty Corp., two boutique financial firms have signed leases covering a combined 26,080 s/f at 810 Seventh Ave., the 41-story, 750,000 s/f office tower located between West 52nd and 53rd Sts.
Brightwood Capital Advisors LLC signed a 10-year lease covering 17,320 s/f for the entire 26th floor of the building, while DH Capital LLC and DH Capital Securities committed to 8,760 s/f for 7+ years on a portion of the 20th floor.
"These transactions are a continuing sign of resurgent leasing activity in Midtown Manhattan," said Steven Durels, executive vice president, director of leasing and real property for SL Green who added that "Midtown has seen close to a 7% decline in available space."
810 Seventh Ave. is home to a prestigious roster of tenants including The Raine Group, Humana Insurance Company, Pixafy, Hoplite Capital Management, Insight Communications, Aegis Capital, Omega Advisors, Louis Glick Corp., Capstone Capital, Longacre Management and Ion Media Networks, Inc.
Jones Lang LaSalle's Cynthia Wasserberger represented Brightwood in the transaction, while Allyson Bowen of Savills Studley, Inc. acted on behalf of DH Capital. Tara Stacom, Barry Zeller, Justin Royce and Scott Silverstein of Cushman & Wakefield represented SL Green in both transactions.
