SL Green Realty inks 26,255 s/f expansion lease with TD Bank

125 Park Avenue - Manhattan, NY

Manhattan, NY SL Green Realty Corp. has signed a new 26,255 s/f, 10-year lease with TD Bank covering the entire 8th floor. This expansion increases TD Bank’s total office occupancy at 125 Park Ave. to 130,057 s/f, bringing the office tower to 100% leased.

“As one of the fastest growing tenants within the SL Green portfolio, we are delighted to facilitate TD Bank’s on-going expansion at 125 Park Ave.,” said Steven Durels, executive vice president and director of leasing and real property at SL Green. “Achieving full building occupancy is further confirmation of the strength of the Park Ave. corridor and increasing tenant desires to be located near Grand Central Terminal.”

Located on Park Ave. and 42nd St., 125 Park Ave. is a Beaux Arts landmark building designed by the architects York and Sawyer in conjunction with John Sloan. The building’s architecture is defined by its modern exterior design, arches, and terra cotta façade.

TD Bank was represented by Robert Alexander, Ryan Alexander, Matthew Saker and Nicole Marshall of CBRE. The landlord was represented by Brian Waterman, David Falk, Pete Shimkin and Daniel Levine of Newmark.
