New York, NY According to SL Green Realty Corp., Fir Tree, Inc., a prominent hedge fund with $12 billion of capital under management, has signed a 10-year lease covering 31,126 s/f at Tower 46, aka 55 West 46^th St. The new headquarters lease covers the entire 29^th and part of the 28^th floors of the newly-constructed office building. SL Green, in a joint venture with Prudential Real Estate Investors, owns a condominium interest covering the top 13 floors of the newly constructed 34 story office tower. “We are pleased to welcome one of the financial world’s most prestigious firms to Tower 46,” said Steven Durels, executive vice president, director of leasing and real property for SL Green.
