Manhattan, NY Sky Equity Group, the New York City-based real estate development firm founded by Simon Dushinsky, has topped out 260 East 72nd St., marking a significant milestone for the firm. As Sky Equity Group’s first condominium in the city, the building reflects their commitment to delivering residential properties and underscores the firm’s continued growth across New York City and South Florida.

Designed inside and out by Peter Pennoyer Architects, the acclaimed firm known for its refined, historically inspired approach to residential design, 260 East 72nd St. has reached its full 20-story height at the corner of Second Ave. and East 72nd St. on the Upper East Side. With sales slated to launch this fall, the development will introduce 60 crafted residences complemented by a suite of lifestyle amenities.

“This is an important moment for Sky Equity Group as we continue to expand our presence in Manhattan’s luxury condominium market,” said Dushinsky, founder and CEO of Sky Equity Group. “The development reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional homes that stand the test of time and are defined by thoughtful architecture, quality craftsmanship, and enduring value. We look forward to launching sales this fall and continuing to grow our footprint in some of the country’s most dynamic residential markets.”

Drawing inspiration from the glamorous architecture of New York City in the 1920s, Peter Pennoyer Architects envisioned 260 East 72nd St. as a timeless addition to the Upper East Side. The classical design and architectural proportions embody the elegance and sophistication that have come to define one of the neighborhood’s most distinguished residential addresses. The building features a light brick façade enriched by Indiana limestone, intricate metalwork, generous stepped setbacks, expansive windows, and private terraces. Residences will range from two- to five-bedroom homes spanning two interconnected buildings, with interiors reflecting the same level of craftsmanship, material richness, and attention to detail expressed throughout the architecture. 260 East 72nd St. marks Peter Pennoyer Architects’ return to the Upper East Side, where the firm has been behind some of the neighborhood’s most successful residential buildings.

“We’re proud to partner with Sky Equity Group as it brings more than 25 years of development experience to its first condominium in Manhattan,” said Susan de França, president and CEO of Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, which is exclusively handling sales and marketing for 260 East 72nd St.

“Having worked with Simon previously at Rabsky Group and now with Dependable Equities on its South Florida building, Ombelle, we know the caliber of development expertise and execution he brings to every property, and we look forward to continued success and collaboration with Sky Equity Group.”

“We have experienced the demand for well-designed Upper East Side homes firsthand, and our team has applied that knowledge in our planning and design advisement for this property, so we know 260 East 72nd St. fills a widening void in the market,” said Caitlin Chagan, president of New Development for New York at Douglas Elliman Development Marketing. “We are excited to introduce this exceptional new offering to the neighborhood and launch sales in the months ahead.”

Located in the heart of the Upper East Side, 260 East 72nd St. offers convenient access to the neighborhood’s restaurants, boutique shopping, cultural institutions, and parks. The property is situated across from the Second Avenue Subway’s 72nd St. station, providing access to the Q train, with the 6 train also nearby.
