SJP Properties inks 14th floor lease for DAZN

Manhattan, NY DAZN, a global sports streaming service, has leased the entire 14th floor at SJP Properties’ 470 Park Ave. South for its U.S. corporate office. The 300,000 s/f, two-tower office building is a fully renovated, class A mixed-use property in the Park Ave.South corridor.

DAZN is known for its extensive live and on-demand sports content, including exclusive coverage of boxing, mixed martial arts (MMA), soccer, motorsport, NFL highlights, and basketball. The company selected a flexible, full-floor suite with beautifully designed interiors to accommodate its evolving needs in a long-term lease.

The lease transaction was facilitated by a dedicated team of real estate professionals. Nicholas Farmakis and John Johnson, Jr. of Savills represented DAZN, while SJP Properties was represented by the CBRE team of Paul Amrich, vice chairman; Neil King III, vice chairman; James Ackerson, senior vice president; and Josh Pernice, senior associate.

Office floors at 470 Park Ave. South provide a turnkey solution with a high-end installation that juxtaposes modern finishes with the natural attributes of an historic building. The 470 Park Ave. South property offers tenants unparalleled access to transportation, dining, and entertainment, making it an ideal location for companies looking to attract top talent. Located atop the 33rd St. subway station and a short walk to Penn Station and Grand Central Station, 470 Park Ave. South embodies the one-seat commute.

“DAZN is extremely excited to be relocating in New York City into the 470 Park Ave. property. We visited many locations during our time exploring a new office location and felt 470 Park Ave. South provided the perfect blend of location, facilities, and amenities,” said Grant Sprigings, head of property & facilities at DAZN Group. “The office space is high end and modern with an external terrace that will allow DAZN to host partner events throughout the year.”

“The DAZN lease exemplifies the quality of SJP’s prebuilt office floors and our ability to provide a plug-and-play solution for a diverse array of tenants,” said Alexander Erdos, senior vice president – leasing and development at SJP Properties. “DAZN appreciated SJP’s detail-focused property management as well as the flexible solution provided at 470 Park Avenue South, including the potential for outdoor working space.”
