According to Sioni & Partners, Brian Halusan and Suruchi Gupta have joined the firm.
Halusan has been a co-owner of Michael J Stevens Investments, LLC, an acquisition and property management company for the past 5 years. He owns and manages properties in Wisconsin and Mississippi. His expertise on assessing markets, utilizing government programs, and finding value in properties provides a unique perspective.
Halusan's educational background also greatly benefits his clients. With both a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Minnesota as well as a masters in Real Estate Development from New York University, he will be able to offer his insight and assist in crunching the numbers. Prior to moving to New York and becoming an investment sales associate, Brian worked as consultant in the Republic of Georgia assisting entrepreneurs with developing business plans to obtain financing for their start-up or to expand their organization. This experience translated into an unprecedented level of client-committed service, organization and attention to detail. Honesty and integrity are not just buzzwords to him; he believes in delivering to his clients a level of service that exceeds their expectations.
Suruchi Gupta joined Sioni & Partners as a Junior Financial Analyst in 2011 and is responsible for financial analysis, on site property evaluations and conducting due diligence review. Her duties also include providing sales & research support for the company's investment sales professionals.
Prior to joining Sioni & Partners, Gupta worked as a relationship manager cum credit analyst with HDFC Bank, India's second largest Private Bank, for client relationship with key players in the Emerging Corporate Group.
Handling asset side of the business for the Middle Market Segment of the Wholesale Banking department, she performed extensive analysis and research on target companies, analyzing financial statements and management performance along with competitor and industry analysis.
Suruchi holds a certificate in credit analysis from New York University while also pursuing CFA. Prior to this she has completed her masters in Business Administration majoring in Finance and bachelors in Economics. As a student, Gupta also held internship at Mitsui and Co.
