John Barrett has joined Admiral Real Estate Services Corp. to expand the firm's business lines into investment sales.
Barrett specializes in exclusively representing property owners in the sale or long term net lease of their properties, with a focus market of Westchester County, NYC, the Bronx and Connecticut. He comes to Admiral after spending six years at Massey Knakal Realty Services, having spearheaded the firm's expansion into Westchester County.
Since 2005, he has evaluated and marketed over 200 million dollars worth of investment real estate in the Westchester sub-market. Beginning in 2007, Barrett has been recognized by The Bronx-Manhattan North Association of Realtors as a Multi-Million Dollar Producer.
Barrett has been featured or quoted in many publications including The New York Times, Crain's New York, The Journal News, Real Estate Weekly and The Westchester Business Journal for his expertise on commercial real estate. Over the course of his career Barrett has worked with an expansive group of sellers, investors and users. He has represented institutional clients, partnerships, estates and financial institutions such as Citibank, Key Bank and Greystone Bank in the sale of Senior Notes, Subordinate Notes and REO properties.
Barrett serves as the president of the Commercial and Investment Division (CID) of the Westchester Putnam Association of Realtors and is also on the Board of Directors of the Westchester Putnam Association of Realtors. He is a member of the Building and Realty Institute's Apartment Owners Advisory Council and serves on the loan committee of Community Capital Resources a not-for-profit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) based in the Westchester.
