The Throggs Neck Shopping Center is one of the borough’s most successful large-scale retail developments. Located at the intersection of Lafayette Ave. and the Hutchinson River Pwy., the 331,000 s/f shopping center is anchored by one of the best-selling Target stores in the nation and is home to 27 retailers and restaurants.

CKO Kickboxing joins a number of well-known retailers and restaurants, including Target, TJ Maxx, Mattress Firm, Petco, Sketchers, Metro Optics, Party City, European Wax Center, Boutique Realty, Beyond Vape, Professional Physical Therapy, AFC Urgent Care, Kudos Beauty Supply, Covenant Dentistry, Paradise Nails & Spa, Rite for Business Check Cashing, T-Mobile, Starbucks, Wine and Liquor Superstore, Applebee’s, Five Guys Burgers & Fries, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Subway, Doctors Express, Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, Havana Express and Sarku Japan.

“We are thrilled to welcome CKO Kickboxing to their first location in the Bronx,” said Joanna Simone. “This fantastic retail center is a perfect example of Simone Development Companies’ commitment towards contributing to the transformation and revitalization of the Bronx, in this case through the re-purposing of a vacant and under-utilized commercial property to what it is today. We are confident CKO Kickboxing will seamlessly fit in with our terrific roster of tenants in serving the local community."

Simone Development Companies acquired the 7.9-acre site in 2011 and transformed it from a closed Postal Service equipment transfer station to the modern and successful Throggs Neck Shopping Center. The property was developed in partnership by Simone Development Companies with Aaron Malinsky of Curbcut Urban Partners and Paul Slayton of Slayton Investments. It includes free on-site parking.
