Segal joins Belkin Burden Wenig & Goldman LLP

According to Real estate law firm Belkin Burden Wenig & Goldman LLP, (BBWG) Lisa Segal has joined the firm as of counsel in the real estate transactional department. She will focus primarily on commercial leasing including office and retail leasing. Segal has nearly 20 years of experience in real estate law. She is skilled in all aspects of commercial office and retail leasing, acquisition and disposition of real property, building service agreements, construction agreements, and brokerage agreements. Before joining BBWG, Segal was an attorney at Citigroup, Inc. in New York, where she was responsible for drafting and negotiating leases, handling various agreements and overseeing outside counsel in connection with transactional and litigation matters. Before then, she was a shareholder in the Real Estate Department at the law firm Greenberg Traurig. "Lisa brings a wealth of expertise from her years in-house and in private practice that will enhance our capabilities throughout the region," said partner Daniel Altman, who chairs the firm's Transactional Department. "Her experience in handling complex real estate leases will be invaluable as we continue to service our clients in this market." "Belkin Burden Wenig & Goldman is a leader in New York real estate law and has a long record of success," said Segal. Segal earned her J.D. from New York Law School and her B.A. in Political Economy from Newcomb College of Tulane University. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Real Estate Association.
