New York, NY Members from the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association of New York participated in the organization’s annual Habitat for Humanity Volunteer day. This year, members painted a community center in East New York.

Scarsdale, NY Scarsdale Area Realtors gathered at the Sunningdale Country Club for the inaugural RealHelp fundraising breakfast to support worthy local causes. The goal of the breakfasts are to make a difference in the communities where agents live and work. 

My colleagues and I are very proud of our long track record designing affordable housing for New Yorkers. We recently began construction on Concourse Village West, a 265-unit affordable project, part of a three-site affordable housing development in the Fleetwood – Concourse Village neighborhood of the Bronx.

Manhattan, NY BizDevel has raised $2,200 for the Education Through Music program during its Public Speaking Masterclass and opera performance event. The event featured a public speaking master class for executives by Victoria Baker and a performance of three operatic arias, including Baker, who is a professional opera singer.

Manhattan, NY Hap Investments, a NY-based international real estate investment and development company, hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for their new development, 2211 Third Ave. on November 7th. 2211 Third Ave., also known as Hap 10 and designed in collaboration with architects Fisher + Makooi, is a mixed-use rental building in East Harlem. It features 108 units, 61 parking spaces and a supermarket in the ground floor retail space. This project will allocate 20% of its rental units for affordable housing as part of NYC’s 421a program. HAP 10 is also participating in the FRESH program with a first-floor supermarket, which provides developers with incentives to bring supermarkets to underserved areas.
