Manhattan, NY Brad Schwarz, principal and executive managing director, Lee & Associates NYC has arranged a lease at 2047 Broadway for Pokebab, a fast casual restaurant specializing in poké bowls, burritos and salads. It will be the Williamsburg-based brand’s second unit.

“The Upper West Side is a vibrant residential neighborhood with some of the busiest retail corridors in the city,” said Schwarz. “Poké is one of the hottest food trends right now and the new Pokebab location will be a well-needed addition, further adding variety in food offerings. There’s no poké around here, they’ll do great.”

Located on a bustling section of Broadway, between West 70th and 71st Sts., the 952 s/f space, previously occupied by Maoz restaurant, is only a block from a transportation hub for the 1, 2 and 3 subway lines, and conveniently close to the M5 and M72 bus lines.

Surrounding businesses include Bloomingdale’s Outlet, The North Face, Roche Bobois, Aroma Espresso Bar, Levain Bakery, Café Luxemburg and Trader Joe’s.

Schwarz represented the landlord, HOWJO Associates for the 10-year lease. The tenant’s broker was Jin Choi of PD Properties. Pokebab will take occupancy on February 1st. The asking rent was $375 per s/f.
